Seeking: Boys & Girls ages 7-14 for the following roles/parts:

Baby June: Age 7 – 12. Small-framed powerhouse. Strong belter, baton twirler, tap dancer, gymnast, kicks and splits. Pointe work a plus. “Shirley Temple meets Annie”.

Baby Louise: Age 8 – 14. Tomboy. Requires a strong actress who moves well and sings.

Newsboys: Age 8 – 14. Energetic singers and dancers. Confident.

Clarence And His Clarinet: Age 8 – 14. Clarinet player (beginner okay). May double as Newsboy.

Girls and Boys: Auditioners for Uncle Jocko's talent show.


Equity Performer Auditions for adult roles and chorus will be held Monday, March 17, 2008 from
6 PM – 10 PM (sign-in starts at 5:30) at the same location, and on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 18 and 19 from 6 – 10 PM (sign-in at 5:30) at the Walnut Street Theatre, 825 Walnut Street, Philadelphia. See separate notices.

Salary $414/week minimum

Notes/What to bring: No appointment necessary.

Please prepare a brief song shows off your voice and range. Bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. Be prepared to dance after singing call.
